The push notification trial has now been completed though so you won't get any notifications - it's just a normal app at the moment (until 3.0 is officially launched) ;)

Hello, I managed to get the code to work by inputting it on my iPhone directly via the redem section of the iTunes Store App. I'm in the UK and had problems with the code initially just using iTunes. The app then downloaded instantly onto my iPhone. Perfect :)

Hi Ben,

I didn't need to do any of what you described to get the App on my iPhone - the redemption code worked in the UK store for me? The main pain with the App is that the location setting processing is USA only.

@Andy K - That's very strange. Maybe they only chose a random percentage of Apple developers - seems a bit odd though.

Ben,
I am paid, but still have not received any email about it... I guess we all don't get to play with it! Thank you, however, for taking the time to reply to my post!

@Clayton Lai - They've only sent out two pushes so far. One at 22:43 and one at 23:31 (British Summer Time) so if you installed after then you won't have got any yet. My assumption is that the first two pushes flagged up some problems and so they are now reconfiguring their servers before doing some more pushes later today. I imagine they'll come at a similar time as yesterdays did.
